“Repeated loud banging noises, apparently from the plumbing, made it nearly impossible to sleep. I woke up several times and felt exhausted the next morning. A restful night is a basic expectation of any hotel stay, and unfortunately, that expectation was not met. Unless this issue is resolved, I would be reluctant to stay here again.”

“I loved this lovely oasis in the craziness of busy Gatlinburg.. Staff was incredibly helpful.. Parking was a a huge +. the traffic was backed up most of the day so getting in and out presented some challenges, but the trolley stopped at the hotel and that was a game changer. Restaurant is delicious . the porch over the river.. was heaven”

“I enjoyed the location and the theme. When at the lodge no strip noise. It was peaceful. The room was perfectly themed. Loved the fire place and the reading chair. Only hiccup was the broken elevator and carrying luggage to the 3rd floor. If not for that would have been excellent rating all around. Love it would definitely stay again.”

“We booked 6 rooms for our group for a 2-night stay at Mainstay Suites Gatlinburg. While the hotel looks fairly new and the rooms are equipped with convenient kitchen amenities like a stovetop and full-sized refrigerator, our overall experience was quite frustrating.
First, even though we were told the hotel was completely sold out, having our group of 6 rooms scattered across 4 different floors was very inconvenient for us.
Second, the kitchen setup had severe functional issues. On our last……
