「Really a perfect cabin for a large family Christmas. The Kitchen has double everything and is a great gathering spot. The living room also had plenty of seating for our group of 22 and a great gas fire place. Game room was great for the teens and everything was pretty much in working order. having a bathroom in each bedroom was also super helpful. Owner was very accessible and communicative. Definitely would recommend. 」

「The house was super nice and the view of the lake was amazing. Downstairs however there were alot of bees that got inside somehow and the deck had a ton of spider eggs. The deck needs to be updated as it had some holes and you had to be careful were you stepped. I will say I'm not sure who the cleaning crew is between stays, but they didn't do a great job on the tables and the vacuum was full and didn't work well as we did clean things before we left. 「There are so many good things about The Big Lodge that I will simply list the ones that stand out in my mind. Comfortable beds, good water pressure and plenty of hot water, beautiful decor, little extras everywhere that made our stay so nice. The host was great, he even took us on a tour of his farm. And of course his peacocks were a favorite of the kids. We’ve been renting cabins for over ten years and this is our favorite so far. Everyone in our family wants to return. Thanks!!!」
