「The staff are great . The property is out dated and could do with a refresh plus provision of at least breakfast !」

「Just stopped one night. The room was lovely. The bed was far too hard for me and hurt my back. The food was good. The location was brilliant. 」

「We had a very nice stay at the hotel. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the pool was always clean and well maintained. The garden is beautiful, and the peacocks were a lovely treat. The staff were super helpful and attentive throughout our stay. You definitely get good value for the money paid. Breakfast was okay – not the best – but we understand it is focused on a traditional English breakfast. It would be nice to have a vegetarian sausage option and boiled eggs as well....

「500 year old hotel in a very pretty town. Great room with everything needed for a short stay. Housekeeping kept the room immaculate. Very friendly staff. Stayed here last year as well and will definitely stay here again.」

「Excellent stay, quiet room and good food. I suggest staying in the main building, as the annexe is far from everything, and the path between the annexe and the main building can get slippery on rainy days (and it rains a lot in England). The wine list and beer selection need improvement.」
