"The house fit our family of 8 very comfortably. The four bedrooms and two bathrooms were clean and the beds allowed for restful sleep. We were celebrating a birthday weekend and were happy to find that the kitchen offered everything we needed to enjoy the food that we brought with us. The location to shops and restaurants was a nice quick walk. This was our first time to Lake George and Bolton. We would definitely love to stay at this lovely home again. Bobbi Jo was very fast to communicate and answer any questions we had. We were also able to enjoy a later check out on Sunday which was very much appreciated. We highly recommend this home in Bolton."

"The Hilltop Hideaway is up on a hill with two lovely decks that overlook Lake George (with a parking lot and other building between the house and the view). The property was super clean and well equipped. The large walkout first floor can serve as its own suite with a bedroom/living space, full bathroom and kitchenette/laundry room. It was a great space for our son, daughter in law and one year old. All the stairs are wooden and might be difficult for small children. The third floor has a log bedroom with an enormous chalk-in closet, a smaller bedroom and lovely large bathroom (no toiletries except soap). The kitchen is fairly well equipped (there is no dishwasher). There is a nice size living room/dining area with full length windows looking over the lake. Then there is a bonus living space with the half bath off of it. It was a 5 minute drive to the village of Bolton Landing and the Sagamore Resort which was super convenient. "

"The house and the view are beautful. When we originally booked this in 2024 it mentioned the theater. When we were there that room was locked and no longer available. But were had other things to fill our time so that was not a big deal. It was a very quick drive to bolton landing (5 minutes). It was a great house for a large group. We loved the firepit table in the screened in porch and the views from the family room. "

"Overall, we had a positive experience staying at this rental. The property was clean, well decorated, and comfortable for my husband and I to share. It's location on a main road and proximity to Lake George made it convenient to get to the heart of town quickly. However, the parking instructions were extremely particular and strict. The kitchen did not offer any essentials for guests, like coffee filters for the machine they offered or basic condiments. The checkout instructions offered by the management group that runs this property did not match the property itself, which made for a confusing experience at the end of our stay. Now that we know what to expect, we'd be happy to stay again, but our first impression left us with more surprises than we had anticipated."
