"Quite unique and interesting villa in a quaint little village worth the drive but the grounds around the villa are not looked after at all, the pond with goldfish in it was green and not working, the other pond was even worse. Very limited kitchen facilities, clothes washer and dishwasher smelled moldy, beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. The Dog next door barked a lot all hours of the day and night. "SanSal was in the perfect location close to Old Town Chania, the light house and nice restaurants. The Sea view area was worth the money with the breakfast being an additional bonus. The staff ate all wonderful and they will make you cappuccinos and eggs cooked how you would like them. The ham and cheese omelet was superb! Alexa at the front desk was a gem in providing us a detailed map of the perfect suggestions to do in Crete from hikes to exploring caves and beaches! We loved it here so much that throughout our travels of Crete that we stayed 3 nights. "
