Having been given great directions by the owners via text we arrived at liftingstane Farmhouse and w

Having been given great directions by the owners via text we arrived at liftingstane Farmhouse and were not disappointed!! The photos of this place don’t do it justice it’s huge and in a beautiful setting, we arrived to a very clean and tidy house with everything we could need, We had an amazing week 8 people and 2 medium sized dogs, enjoying ample space in all rooms of the Farmhouse and especially the very large kitchen/dining living area great for all the family to spend quality relaxing time together and especially playing board games we bought with us. Even the dogs were well catered for Blizzard and Bailey loved their treats . Stopped by house to unload. and then had ample space up the back for parking and turning . We enjoyed lots of fantastic days out in the area walks beaches Castle’s shopping ice skating And also Relaxing and chilling in Farmhouse would definitely visit again and if you have a larger group they also offer 2 further cottages that sleep 5 and 4 .

Everything we hoped for and more. Clean as a whistle, luxurious, spacious, warm, with room for the whole party, and a delightful snug for escapees. The welcome from Jock and Ali was delightful. they were on hand when needed, and otherwise discreetly in the background. As the organising host-person, I appreciated the hotel standard touches and extras, (shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms, eg) but even more the thoughtful provisions, like sofa-throws for dogs, the tray for muddy boots, the washing machine tablets, bin bags. Cant recommend this highly enough.
