"This hotel was absolutely lovely for our stay in grindelwald. Prices were cheaper than other hotels from our experience looking however nothing is cheap in Switzerland. Room was stunning and comfortable and had amazing views of the mountains. Breakfast was delicious and locally sourced food, and the toilet and shower in the room was superb."

"My stay here far exceeded my expectations and I did wonder whether there was anything else I would suggest, but there was nothing I would add. As a solo traveller I found the hotel to be very accommodating and would return here with friend and family. The breakfast was good and had options for different dietary requirements, although if you’re vegan it may be worth double checking ingredients with the team. Everyone was so well mannered and helpful. At times, it felt like I was using the facilities for the first time as they were so clean. There is no air conditioning but I didn’t find this to be a problem at all in warmer weather as the room stayed quite cool naturally. The spa was barely used and I found the experience so peaceful. Well done to the team here! "

"Beautiful classic old hotel in Wengen. Close to the railway station. Good buffet breakfast. We got an upgrade to a corner room with spectacular views of the mountains. Electrical could do with upgrading although everything worked. Staff were very pleasant"
