“The room I was given needed a fair bit of attention from the cleanliness of the bathroom, filling in the toilet roll and tissues Restaurant was ok but the food needed more variation. However the staff at the restaurant were very nice and helpful. Although it says there is a spa they mean it only offered massages. I feel Expedia could have done a better job with verifying all that is claimed in the description.I think it should be only a Two star rating. ”

“スタッフの方が、友好的でした。”

“It is a heritage hotel in keeping with bygone times. Super close to the mall. Lovely dining room for dinner with fireplace and candlelit. Food was terrific with alot of choices. Buffet bfast but you can request eggs how u like. Some renovation works currently but all staff and workmen encountered always super polite and helpful beyond . If I were to go back to darjeeling I would definitely stay here. ...the drive from bagdogra to darjeeling is an experience in itself.”

“Room service is very good. Food is also very good. View at the balcony is excellent.”

“Overall did the job, not exceptional but friendly staff always helpful. A little out of town but incredible views of the Himalayas. Breakfast was not a buffet for some reason, and no fridge/mini bar in room.”

“Helping Staff, best view from room, of an valley.”

“We booked the Family Room with Balcony and Jacuzzi for a 3-night stay. The room itself had a very cozy feel and was perfect for a family, and the staff was phenomenal—always friendly and eager to help. However, the room's main selling points fell short of expectations: Jacuzzi Maintenance: The floor jet caps were missing (except for 2 or 3), making it uncomfortable to stand or sit in. Additionally, it took so long to fill that I had to call reception to have it filled manually. As a result, we……

“The staff were great. The location was perfect and close to main Darjeeling mall. The floors in the room and multiple junctions in the lobby area are uneven which may cause discomfort and extra attention especially for elderly people.”

“Clean room , staffs are good, by my side the hotel is best at budget friendly”

“Good property to stay at very good location. Staffs are polite and helpful. Only problem I faced while checking out that they could not find my payment which already made during booking the room on hotels.com.There must have some communication gap between hotel and hotel.com causing unnecessary delay in checking out.”

“Sterling Darjeeling is a great place to stay for a trip to the area. The location is much better than anything close to the mall. You can avoid all the traffic and noise of central Darjeeling. Views of the valley and surround mountains are great. The staff is very helpful. If you’re traveling from the airport, you will get to the property much faster (hours) than any place close to the mall because of all the traffic even though it’s only a few kilometers away. I would highly recommend Sterling……

“位置稍嫌遍遠，不好找。我住的頂樓套房沒有暖氣，冬天非常冷，熱水器又忽冷忽熱，差點不敢洗澡了 人員非常親切，設備很舒適，視野不錯”

“Mountain mist is a beautiful homestay experience with comfort conveniences and the authenticity of small village Himalayan life. The family team have recently expanded into hosting more foreign tourists. You can be one of the pioneer guests We were collected in a modern 4x4 and served variety of local cuisine in six days. Travellers willing to leave the chain hotel experience offered in Darjeeling can have a soft bed with fast internet amongst the hills of the tea estate. Bantandam is rural and……

“Wonderful, relaxing stay with extra interest in learning about the growing and processing of tea. Delicious food, freshly prepared onsite. Staff friendly and helpful. Room and bed comfortable and clean. Really enjoyed the visit to the tea factory and walk around the estate. Make sure you book the airport transfer - price is reasonable and difficult to find for people who don't know. ”

“Great location, walkable to the Toy Train. Many restaurants close by. The hotel was able to organise taxis and sightseeing trips. The staff were very helpful. The restaurant was very busy at breakfast but there was no shortage of food. Would stay again.”
