It was beautiful. The pool area was extremely clean. The service was great. The place itself is just breathtaking. We did have a power outage which affected the service at the restaurant but other than that everything was great. 10 out of 10. The place was heaven on earth. It does get really chilly at night cause you’re at the top of the mountain so make sure you take a big jacket.

The resort is beautiful and perfect for Instagram-worthy photos. My boyfriend and I visited over Valentine’s Day and made it a long weekend since we had Presidents’ Day off. Check-in was unusual—there’s no front desk, and staff escort you straight to your room. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. On our first night, we just wanted beers and appetizers by the pool after a long day of travel. It took about 20 minutes for staff to acknowledge us. After we finished, we had to ask two different employees for the check and waited over 45 minutes with no follow-up. We assumed it was due to the Valentine’s Day dinner rush. The next day, we played tennis at nearby courts. The valet team was friendly and helpful, providing drop-off and pickup service. When we returned around 2 p.m., we tried again to order beers by the pool. Despite it not being busy, no one came to assist us. My boyfriend went inside to order at the bar and was told the beers were coming. After another 30 minutes with nothing delivered, we gave up and left the property to find service elsewhere. Because the resort is so remote, our Uber took 30 minutes to arrive. The property itself is stunning and has a lot of potential, but the lack of attentive service—especially given the remote location—was disappointing. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

This was such a good pick! Everyone at the hotel is amazing. We got there later in the evening and we were welcomed with a tour of the hotel. The room was very nice, modern and clean. They have a lot of nice details to make you feel welcomed and pampered. The breakfast was amazing, Armando was our fabulous server and we met the chef as well. My son had the French toast, is to die for. Then Petit and Fernando were amazing and they took us for a property tour in the buggies! We had a blast. Decently coming back to this hotel. The only small complaint, is the super long contract when you check in, it would be great if they can reduce that. But really, the place and service are great.

Room was super clean, comfortable and spacious with an excellent view. Staff was outstanding. No lobby to check in, was greeted as I stepped out of my Uber. They knew who I was and took me directly to my room, carried my bags . Breakfast was outstanding as was wait staff. They went the extra mile for us!

Overall property was great. The staff service was above and beyond. The food options and selection could have been better but the food itself was amazing. There was a celebration at the hotel on Saturday evening that got a bit out of control. People were so drunk that they started jumping in the pool after it was closed. Initially the hotel staff tried to get them out but eventually brought them towels and let them keep swimming. More ppl began to jump in the pool fully clothed and then the videographer started recording them. In my opinion you have to choose the type of environment you want to present and this felt uncomfortable for me as a guest. I didn’t book this hotel to party. I booked this hotel for service and class and that was lost due to that.

Property is very nice, secluded with stunning views. The one complaint I have is that one of the restaurant server/staff demanded service tips with no good service provided ( his name is Vincente). The rest of the staff was very attentive and did tip every time!

My gf and I had an amazing amazing experience here at the Bellafer hotel. Mitzy, the manager at the property went above and beyond to make our stay here special. She was kind and helpful in check in process and even held our bags after check out so we could explore the city before our departure. I can’t say enough about her. Someone give this woman a raise! It’s one thing to have an exceptional hotel and resort but it’s a step beyond when you have such high quality staff to bring warmth to the guests experience. It leads to memorable experiences. We will definitely return here on our next trip. We got such great peace and tranquility from our busy work lives. Thank you Mitzy and the rest of the Bellafer staff for making our stay so special.
