Las Gaviotas stay

We enjoyed our stay. The home was beautiful, clean and fully stocked. The check in and out process was smooth. We did not want to leave and will book again.

Las Gaviotas March 2025

Our family enjoyed an incredible time at Max’s property. The home is well maintained, very clean, comfortable, cozy, and has a great ocean view. Max was so helpful in providing recommendations and was very hospitable. We will definitely return. Thank you, Max!

Amazing Spot for Large Group!!

We had a group of 10 guys and had a blast. Epic surf trip with beds for everyone. Max was great and made sure we had everything we needed. Looking forward to coming back and renting this property again!!

Beautiful Home and Area

The house was beautiful. Met and exceeded our expectations. Loved that Netflix and other streaming services were already available and loaded on the TV. Easily big enough for two families. Well stocked with the essentials and very clean.

Las Gaviotas Fun

Great property! There is plenty of room for two families in the common areas. The house is on the second road off of the ocean so it doesn't sit right on the highway which is nice. We had a great time cooking, playing games, and visiting the beach. The owner is very responsive and helpful!

Family reunion

Perfect place for our family group of 7. We loved the patio overlooking the ocean, the community pool/hot tub option and the security of the property. Max was extremely responsive! My only negative is the downstairs bedroom is very stuffy and never cooled down. It definitely could use an AC in that room (an AC split). The other rooms could use one as well. Overall, fantastic place.

Nice Location

The house was plenty big for the 8 of us (2 families). Everything we needed in the kitchen. The living room had comfortable couches. Nice patio to eat and hang out and watch the sunset. You can see the water from the balcony. Easy walk to the ocean/surf. Garage was convenient to keep all beach gear in. Outdoor shower was a plus. The only complaint is the downstairs master bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Otherwise, we would love to stay again. Can’t wait to return.

Long weekend in Gaviotas

My friends and I had a great long weekend in Max’s villa by the beach. We loved being able to walk to the water, utilize the community tennis court and jacuzzi. The house slept 8 couple comfortably, pushing two beds together in one bedroom. Having four separate full bathrooms was a plus as well.

Great house for a group trip!

Stayed here with friends for a few days to enjoy the beach and surf. The property and house are great! Plenty of room, house was clean, lots of bathrooms! Would stay again.

Las Gaviotas family vacation

beautiful house with great view

We had a great time. House was spacious and clean. Amazing ocean view from the deck. Short walk to the pool and beach. Covered and garage parking is a plus. Felt very safe. Only downside was a very hard and uncomfortable mattress in downstairs queen bed. Otherwise we had a great trip and would stay again.

Las Gaviotas Family Trip

We really enjoyed our stay at Max’s house in Las Gaviotas. Max was very helpful answering all of our questions. The check in process was flawless and the kitchen was well equipped to make many family meals. We will definitely stay here again.

Great stay

The place was wonderful, it was right by the beach, everything about it was great! Only thing I don’t recommend is bringing large groups(8). Can’t even whisper without security being on you about it after 10pm. They seem to pick and choose who to be strict with. Once they have it for you, they will constantly harass you about anything. There were other groups past 10pm at night in their balconies and they would not tell them anything. Just an FYI. But other than that, I do recommended Max’s place for a more chill, quite, mellow type of trip/environment.

Great Place, I'd Visit Again !

Great place !!! Very comfortable, great ocean view even though it's 2 rows of houses from the ocean. A little bit of a walk if you are lugging surf boards, but really not a deal breaker. The house was clean, cozy and served us well.
