「On Sunday there were large numbers of people out for breakfast. Unfortunately it was obvious that they were not replenishing the eggs, and never added the bacon like on Mondayeven yogurt was not replenished. 」

「Great staff, clean room/beds, but property is long-in-the-tooth. Some repairs are poorly done. Breakfast was terrible. Pool was not in good shape (but early in season). Okay for the price.」

「Mold, peeling walls, torn up floors, toilet would not flush, light switch when you first walk in didn’t turn any lights on, light in vanity area would not turn on. Vents were rusted and hanging off, smoke detector was just open wires hanging, door would not close completely and the lock was henge was broken. Linens on bed were dirty. 」

「When we arrived at around 9:30 pm there where a bunch of people aitting in chairs on the walkway and playing loud music. So we left didn't go into the room.」

「First off the non-refundable reservation disappeared. I had to try to find a phone number to get it straightened out. However the front desk people were extremely helpful and got it straightened out. Second, the air conditioner was in the bathroom area and did not work well. The sheets though clean were scatchy, there was no water pressure the shower unless you turned it full hot, the "breakfast" was granola bars and apples, there was light showing between the door and outside, the door frame...

「We made a last minute booking to get away for a couple nights. So glad we chose this place! Everything was perfect. Hot tub was awesome and so were the sunsets. Stocked kitchen with most tools you’d need to prepare meals. Coffee pod maker with all the pods. We had our small dog with us and the totally fenced in yard was so helpful. 10/10 would stay again.」

「The cabin was beautiful and modern! The owners did a great job providing everything we needed to help make our vacation feel like a home away from home. The variety of appliances were an unexpected plus.The dock and golfcart were very useful. The view from the deck was pur favorite spot. The fire pit was nice to use when it got a little chilly at night. The only issues we had were the amount of ladybugs (my little girls were scared of the amount there were) and that the fish just wouldn’t bite -...

「The Pine Grove Cottage is a great escape to enjoy being in the country and fishing a private lake! The inside is clean and beds comfortable! We caught lots of small bass, but my husband lost a couple of big ones. We enjoyed the town if Winnsboro that was close by, good restaurants and shopping! Paula is a great host and helpful through our entire stay!」

「Host was very easy to communicate with. Nice house with room to spread out. Enjoyed all the lake amenities…..fishing, fire pit, fire table and more. Plan to be back when weather is warmer!」
