Ms. Mamono Tajima greeted me and checked me in upon arrival. I travel all over SE Asia and quite a bit in Japan. In my opinion, Tajima-sans customer service skills are world class. I was completely impressed at the warm welcome she gave me. International travel is not easy. It can be very hard on the body and mind. Tajima-san made sure I was completely comfortable. I would hire her in a heartbeat for any job that involves customer service - especially for western people. You should recognize her for the great employee that she is.

Wonderful establishment in a great location! I went during COVID time, so admittedly the hotel bar itself was empty all weekend, but I get the feeling during normal times it would be a very popular, fun spot! Definitely would stay again when I go back!

Tremendous atmosphere with a fun and unique environment, lighting, furniture and staff. Impressed by the "intercontinental breakfast" which outshines many hotels' offerings with a large selection and generous hours of operation. Relaxed mostly in the lounge but the room was comfortable and stylish as well.

MOXY Tokyo Kinshicho has everything you need with friendly english speaking staff. About a 7 minute walk from JR station and Metro Station. Close to Akihabara and Tokyo Skytree with plenty of shopping centers and places to eat nearby.

Not meeting international hotel standard
As the hotel is carrying an international brand of Marriott, there is a minimum requirement expected from international brand. The hotel room is comfortable, clean and no carpet, which is a plus. The service level in front office is almost none. The front office staffs are not professional enough in their job during the check in process. I have come to drop my luggage in the morning and have been told to come back around 2 pm for check in. 2 pm and the front office cannot find my reservation. Explanation unclear.i have stayed in Andaz and W hotel where the approach is similar...we can be in the bar during check in. However, they are very professional, fuss-free and they know who we are when we arrived, well prepared to greet the customers and accommodating requests from members. This was not the case with this hotel and they definitely failed to deliver the level of customer service at normal international hotel standard. Limited service, yeap no issue....even Ibis and holiday inn express have a better customer service level at international standard. Very disappointing. The location is not great, in the girls bars area in kinshicho and can be loud/rowdy at night. An embarrassment and reputational risk to the international brand of Marriott.

Fun Vibe at the MOXY
This hotel has a fun and funky decor. The staff is the best - friendly and helpful. The rooms are large with comfy beds. Bottled water is provided each day. The metro station is an easy walk away. They have a very nice laundry area. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice stay, Easy Access to train stations
Nice at the affordable price in Tokyo area, the size is quite compatible for two, shower and toilet size are bigger than normal hotel in Japan. Location is not far from the main station and easy access to key attraction spots, it took only 20mins from Haneda Airport, super comfortable with Airport Bus Limousine ¥920 to Kinshicho station, 15-20 mins easy excess to Shibuya, Ginza, Omotesando and only one straight line by Hansomon Line (Purple) without hassle changing too many trains. Only flaw is the pillows, they are too soft for me, I’m not sure we can request different type of it.

The vibe at this hotel was amazing, the staff spoke very good English and helped us track down our rail passes left in a taxi. The dryer downstairs was broken - that’s the only snafoo- otherwise loved staying here - will stay again if I’m in the area - good price - location is near the train station - very convenient

Awesome stay
Great hotel. Clean, quiet and comfortable room. Very hip, similar to a W hotel but much cheaper. DJ and bar in the lobby. Only minus is that it was surrounded by “gentleman clubs” but didn’t seem sketchy. Would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel!
I like this fashionable hotel very much. It’s newly built and so it’s very clean and modern. I recommend it particularly to families and young people. On the 1st floor of the hotel, there are a library and a bar/cafe which are also family-friendly and safe. In Kinshicho, you can also enjoy a lot of stores and restaurants. However, I felt uncomfortable about the neighbourhood due to love hotels and other relevant stores, but if you can ignore them or if you don’t walk around at night, the place is convenient. The hotel itself is safe, fun, and great.

The Moxy is true to its brand and delivers a modern-chic experience, complete with multiple Instagram worthy backdrops. The staff is English speaking and provides you with a complimentary adult beverage at check-in. The hotel is located within Tokyo's red light district, which gets busy at night. The rooms are very spacious and have an artsy design. The bathroom and shower were enormous and were the highlight of the room. The hotel is located about a 10 minute walk from the nearest train station and is great if you wish to spend a day in the Ginza area.

I loved the fun energy at MOXY. For a solo female traveler, I greatly appreciated the 24/7 services&amenities available (employee at the bar). Thank you to those who work the overnight shift! Despite the awesome DJ nights & daily moxytivities they host, my room was still peaceful & quiet. Even the cleaning lady was thoughtful. I had told her I didn’t want my room cleaned, but realized later that I did then put out the sign for “Refresh” and she knocked on my door when she passed by and asked me about it. (I’m sure back in the states-they definitely would’ve disregarded it since I told them prior that I didn’t want it.) I’m use to being ignored by higher up staff due to my appearance, but the manager was very kind here and actually spoke to me meaningfully. She even gave me advice on the best route to the airport without me asking. This is a very welcoming hotel whether you’re a guest or not. I absolutely love that about this hotel & I loved the 24/7 gym.

Pros: inviting lobby with many spaces to relax/read/talk/eat, friendly staff, comfy beds, close to 2 convenience stores, a reasonably priced grocery store (Aeon), and train station, reasonably priced cafe Cons: neighborhood felt a little sketchy during early morning and at night (area has several "love hotels" and private clubs), room was very small-- no space to leave down even a chair and we had to put our luggage on the window sill, Moxy's amenities, especially the combination shampoo/conditioner are terrible (so bad that I purchased my own)

Moxy Hotel Tokyo had an amazing vibe, decor, comfort, and extremely wonderful staff members. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. We loved the main lobby where you can grab drinks and play games like a kid again. The breakfast was very good as well. The fun decor and philosophy of being great hosts was apparent throughout our entire stay. I would highly recommend Moxy to everyone visiting Tokyo.

The service & the staff working there were excellent. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I had to stay there because of flight cancellation due to severe weather and I found it convenient to access from Narita airport. Brand new hotel, really clean and modern and only a short walk from a main line train station which is well connected to the main tourist districts. It’s not got loads of hotel extras (not a traditional business hotel) but it was exactly what we needed as a base for sightseeing. Great shower too!
