"The front desk staff was amazing and helpful! The breakfast staff were also great - The food was plentiful and restocked often. There was a variety of English, German, and Norwegian breakfast choices - all delicious. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom had a bathtub/shower combination - the sides were a bit high and the floors were slippery. It just required a little extra care getting out. Overall, this was a fabulous hotel base camp for exploring around the fjord for a couple of days."

"Cozy and efficient place although quite costly for what it offers. A bit disappointed that there was insufficient communication re: transport. It can take ages to get from Flam to the hotel if you dont prebook a taxi or look up the shuttle timetable. Uber does not work here."

"The location was perfect for our destination surrounded They have hotel room and cabins, make secure you specify or look wich you want in your reservation . They also have camping area, They also have restaurant in place with menu that changes daily. And with cold temperatures you’re unable to change the temperature in the room."

"The room was tiny with no room on either side of the bed. It worked well for a one-night stay for the two of us. Oscar provided an extension cord for a CPAP machine. The breakfast was wonderful and we enjoyed talking with the other guests about the area. We even discovered that we had a mutual connection through ancestral farms in Skjåk. Her ancestors were Bøye and mine are listed as Bøje, which appear to be variations of the same name."
