「Lovely hotel with helpful staff and great food.」

「We didn't get the type of room we paid for and the mattress was beyond uncomfortable, had a very thin duvet and only 2 very thin pillows. Spoke to reception the following morning and were moved immediately. Next room was more like what we were expecting. Mattress still uncomfortable where you could feel the springs, duvet & pillows were the same as other room. Shower head wasn't working properly, spoke to reception and to be fair she had it changed whilst we were out getting breakfast.」

「Lovely hotel/old inn. Excellent shower. Breakfast (over the road) great. Easy parking - although it might be a squeeze if there was a function being held. Look forward to staying again.」

「All the breakfast items was cold the room was clean but small and dated bed was solid as a rock think the 3pm check in is abit late surely they can get room done by 1pm definitely wont rush to say there again most probably use premier inn instead 」

「The room was clean. The staff were courteous at all times. Breakfast was great. The veranda at the side of the breakfast suite is an excellent place to socialise, great suntrap. The atmosphere is so relaxing & peaceful. My wife & I will be back next year. Found a great place for a long weekend break. I am disabled with Lung Disease CHP/ILD, I require oxygen 24/7. The hotel allowed me to have my oxygen on the premises. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone.」

The room was clean, and although I did have to change rooms due to a broken air conditioning unit, this was handled without disrupting my sleep or overall stay too much. Parking was straightforward once I realised you need to drive right up to the shutters to access the intercom for entry. That said, the hotel does feel a little tired in places.
