"This was one of the worst stays we’ve ever had. The listing was completely misleading. We booked the property for six nights believing we were renting a full house, based on the photos and description provided. However, upon arrival, we were shocked to discover that we had been placed in a basement unit, which was never disclosed prior to booking. This was not just inconvenient — it was a serious issue. My mother has a leg injury and cannot safely use stairs, and there was no mention in the listing that the unit was only accessible by stairs. We immediately contacted the host and requested a refund so we could find a more suitable accommodation, but he ignored all of our messages and did not respond to Expedia’s attempts to reach him either. On top of that, the laundry room is shared between the basement unit and the upstairs guests, which was also not disclosed in the listing. Because of this, we unknowingly left the laundry area unlocked, thinking it was part of our private space — only to find other guests coming in and out. We booked for six people, and the space was far too small to accommodate us comfortably. The rooms were cramped, there were no extra blankets, and because the host was unresponsive, we had no way to request additional items. This host was dishonest, unprofessional, and completely unresponsive. The property was falsely advertised, and our experience was frustrating and stressful. I do not recommend this place to anyone — we will never return. Again"

"We had a very pleasant stay and truly appreciated finding a dog-friendly place on such short notice. It made a last-minute trip much more manageable knowing our furry companion could come along.The location was excellent—situated in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood where we felt completely safe walking the dogs, even later in the evening.One point of clarification: the listing did not specify that the unit is located in the basement, which was a bit unexpected based on the exterior photo of the house. That said, the space was cool, clean, and comfortable.The listing mentioned two queen beds and two singles. In reality, there was one room with a queen bed, another with a single bed, and a pull-out single. What was described as a second queen is actually a sofa bed that converts to a double. The ridge of the sofa bed made it a bit uncomfortable, and we couldn’t locate any sheets for it. However, had we needed it, we would have reached out to the host.We discussed the bed setup with the host, who was very responsive and mentioned plans to update the VRBO listing to reflect this more accurately.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to rent again. Thank you!"

"I had a lovely birthday and felt safe as a solo travel to Canada. I would highly recommend here as it is away from the city but close enough to travel to Toronto to enjoy."

"My wife, son and I loved staying in this place, it really is a full kitchen and an amazing space that is very organized. The house is next to a park, so we enjoyed it with our son, the neighborhood is quiet and friendly, when we needed it, the host was attentive and helpful.Our trip was amazing, the place is also comfortable as the bed, the 1.5 bathrooms and a living room with an electric fireplace give the place a cozy feel."
