「We had a good time staying in Hearthside. First it has the nicest and most friendly staff. Second its location is fantastic, we love it that it is not right in the middle of the busiest street but it is a 5 min walk from it on a quiet small street. Third it is also great that they keep hot and cold water jars and some snacks on the dining room table at all the time and we found these very helpful when we returned from a long day touring outside . On the minus side which we hope they can improve...

「Unique place to stay. Small but perfect for what we needed. Everything worked fine. Wish it had an actual heating system rather than a portable heater. Got pretty cold and I was afraid to leave the heater on while we were out. This meant longer heating times.
Convenient location to Winter Harbor and Ellsworth.
Recommend pod-type coffee maker. It would be easier and less messy than bags of coffee.」
