“This is a lovely and comfortable place. The space is organized in a slightly awkward way, but it's completely workable. The host is great at communications, and accommodated us with an early check-in. The small streets of this neighborhood are quiet and well cared for, and the machiya is very close to Kenroku-en Garden. Other areas are a short walk away. We very much appreciated being able to stay here.”

“Great area with an excellent restaurant across the street. On the route for the hop on hop off bus. Very clean and lots of room. Kitchen is very well equipped and beds were very comfortable even though they were the traditional Japanese style. Bathrooms upstairs and down. Great property for a larger group or family. ”

“施設がとてもきれいで、開放感のある広々としたお部屋でした。徒歩圏内に小洒落た飲食店もいくつかあり、快適にのんびりと滞在できました。
備え付けの家電はどれもきれいでハイテクでしたが、欧米仕様のものが多く使いこなせなかったので、最初に施設の説明があればさらに良かったです。”
