“This is a wonderful gem of a place to stay. My husband, dog and I stayed for 2 nights and we honestly could find no fault. Everything you could possibly need was provided which was a lovely touch. Even down to being able to grab a cuppa whilst we got our bearings was perfect. The weather was horrible but we felt relaxed and rested which is priceless. Would have loved to have stayed longer so will definitely look to do that in the future. Well done Julie, your home is amazing ”

“I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. Definitely recommend t He Stay at the Brae.”

“The Four Sisters was a unforgettable experience I would recommend. The location is convenient to the historical sites and museums of Edinburgh. We were fortunate to be there during the local canal festival and were able to learn more about the area and join the community. The staff was helpful and just a text away. The plumbing is a bit tricky but you are on a boat and once we got the hang of it, there were no problems”

“This is a great little find. Perfect for a family who doesnt want to be on top of one another in a hotel. It's a little far out for a quick walk to the city center, but the area is beautiful safe and quiet. “Upon walking through the gate, trash was plied very high. When we got to the room the smell of cigarette smoke smacks you in the face. I immediately notified them via email with no answer. The couch was very warn out with pieces of the pleather flacking off and the chair had a hole in it and was very old and not comfortable. The bed was decent, however the pillows are very very flat. Oh and the blue door in the pictures, not your blue door. Also, there was pee in one of the walkways as well ”
