"Excellent location in the historic heart of Chester. Spacious room, very comfortable and quiet. Wonderfully welcoming and very helpful receptionist who recommended restaurants and things to do. It’s always great to receive standout service, so thank you! The only very slight drawback with the room was that the shower was located over the bath rather than being separate. That said, lovely to have a bath in the room too. Excellent Elemis products also. Breakfast service was a little slow even though I went at a pre-booked time and it was quiet. But overall, I really enjoyed my stay and plan to return. "

"A pleasant stay in the town centre. The hotel is comfortable and well located - a few minutes walk to the river, walls and cafes. The breakfast was offered at a discount if you book with reception the day before. It includes a hot English breakfast and the usual continental items."

"Nice kind very efficient staff had issue with my room they change it immediately without arguing ! Very private professional , they know their business very well ! They put guest above all ! Very comfortable rooms nicely decorated like upscale hotel should be ! Very close to airport few meters but no noise very good window insonorisation ! Nice views of airport and Liverpool estuaire ! Will defiantly return and recommend to others ! "
