“This is a great property on a steep hill. Owner Lyndsay was VERY helpful and provided an introduction to the property even volunteering to help me with luggage. The site is walking distance from the downtown area.”

“The view is why you should stay here. The pool and bar are great, lounge chairs need repair. Convenient access to old town. The restaurant is very good but pricey, Sibs up the road is a grea local bar and restaurant. There is NO sign to tell you where to turn to get to hotel. Three stars is a good position for this hotel. Finally, I would NOT return to St. Thomas. There are a lot to see and do but driving the roads wear you out getting there. Go to St. John or St. Croix instead.”

“Walking distance to all the shopping of Charolette Amalie. The most welcoming staff. Very clean rooms, the pool being open 24/7 is an awesome touch. I would recommend this stay to anyone! Especially couples. I wouldn’t say it’s fit for families or elderly-or those with a hard time climbing stairs. A few Minutes drive to the airport and Brewers Beach. YOU WONT REGRET your stay”

“The A/C was a little noisy. They were ants in the kitchen area. The room needed a black out curtain over the kitchen window. The bathroom needs a fan to remove the steam from shower”

“Great place to stay. Was SUPER hard to find at first with Google maps. Perfect breakfast and very laid back. We had a gorgeous view and the AC worked perfect. Nice staff. THE best thing was that we were able to walk about everywhere. Perfect hotel if wanting to walk to the pop up shops/food/jewelry places”

“Room was clean and comfortable. Would have liked a microwave in the room and coffee available in the lobby. The sitting area was nice unless there was a boat nearby that gave a diesel smell. Cruise ships did not dock in front of the hotel but further down the dock, so our view was not blocked. Hotel is in walking distance to restaurants, shopping and the sky-tram which was nice.”

“What a tropical paradise! We were blown away by Hideaway! If you are looking for a private, family or couple getaway, this is the best place around! The simplicity might be a little less than what some want, but the stay met every one of our needs. The environment was beautiful and the beach was our favorite on the island! “It rained the day we arrived and when we got there, the whole kitchen and living room were flooded and the rug was soaked for the whole 7 day trip so the whole house stunk of mildew the entire trip. We woke up sick every morning from breathing in the nasty air all night. I dont know if someone left the front door open allowing the rain water to come in during the storm but we would’ve enjoyed our trip better if we didn’t get sick every time we were in the house. There is also no laundry soap or……
