"Loved how genuinely hospitable and real this lodging felt! Not to mention the warm and welcoming owner, the spectacular view of Whiteface mountain (so close that I felt that I could reach out and touch it), the majestic music on arrival, and the oodles of personality in every inch of it.......the likes of which is so missing in the cookie-cutter lodgings that we are so accustomed to! It is an experience to stay here and I am grateful for that experience. Can't wait to return. TY, Walter!! ...

"Two suites that are perfect for two families staying together. The kitchen was nicely furnished. Had a beautiful view and a short walk to a Dam. The place is attached to a restaurant, but wasn't noticeable during our stay. The suites were very clean. The Host was also very understanding and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our stay. "

"Great stay at Natures Nest. Place was beautiful and had everything we needed. Our adult family of 6 had plenty of space to spread out to play games, shoot hoops and play pool. Very comfortable and clean. Close to Whiteface and Lake Placid. Easy to get a few high peaks in, bike rides and walks. We would stay here again! "
"Our family had a great time at Ladybird Lodge. The original timber house has been updated with plenty of room for our party of six. The property is private, quiet, and surrounded by large trees. We really enjoyed the large, clean, and well lit hot tub. It was outside on the deck with the fire pit and hot tub.The kitchen was well stocked with non perishables, appliances and cookware. The large upstairs bathroom with a brand new walk-in shower. The house was warm and inviting with rustic Adirondack fixtures and artwork. The wi-fi is quick and the large screen TV and sound system are excellent. Communication with the owners was excellent and responsive. We appreciated easy check in and check out process. "
"This isn't a luxury room in the sense of being new/updated with a lot of space. The main area is dated, but it has everything you need and an updated bath area and it's a great location if you are in Wilmington for something. We were there for the Whiteface uphill bike race. Meg seemed available to help although we didn't need anything."
