This is an older Four Seasons and it’s starting to show its age. It’s not as modern and high tech like the other Asian locations like Tokyo Otemachi or Seoul. Still, the old school feeling worked since it’s Bali and not much is new and modern anyway. The service was legendary, classic Four Seasons warmth and hospitality. Plenty of surprises from housekeeping and excellent snacks and treats daily. The beds were comfy although the rooms could use a makeover, they’re feeling a bit outdated. We had a villa with a private pool. Honestly I don’t recommend the private pool because the dipping pools at the gym/spa with varying temperatures (warm, cold, normal) are so amazing and relaxing to use. We spent more time there than our private pool. Lovely people and views overall. Close proximity to the hottest spots without being in the middle of the bustle.

Hotel is super comfotable. Activites provided are heathy and interesting. Chef is very nice with passion. However, unlimited order breakfast can be small portion so that guest can try more different food. Dinner menu may be better add more kinds of soup and cooked vegetable and add more thai foods. Swimming pool is small. May be better bigger with more trees around the pool side so that guest can fieel swimming in a jungle.

Good location in Ubud

Hotel provides complimentary daily activities such as guided hiking and biking, would be nice if they provided more acitivities. The duplex is not very convenient but acceptable. The service is friendly. The room is clean. There are some insects here and there but understandable as the hotel is located in the mountains.
