"If you have luggage, please take a cab to the hotel. We made the mistake of walking. The front of the hotel has steps! If you want to avoid the steps, then you have to go to the back entrance which is from the side of the hotel and goes up to the door. The hotel is clean, good breakfast. The staff was doing their job. Not very friendly."

"This is a beautiful hotel set up on the hill above Lake Yamanaka with a gorgeous view of My Fuji (when not raining)! We only spent one night, but would definitely stay here again! The room was clean and comfortable, the building was clean and maintained, and the breakfast buffet was fantastic!"

"The hotel has an amazing location. On a clear day, Mount Fuji can be seen directly from the hotel which has a wonderful observation room. Breakfast is good with plenty of choice. The onsen is also a lovely treat at the end of the day- and spotlessly clean. We love staying here. There is a shuttle service provided to/from the station as the hotel is a little out of town."
