"Just found the windows were a bit dirty for a deluxe view, it would have been nicer but other than that it was a lovely stay. Security guard in the evening was a bit creepy as he was offering a young lady scenic view on the top of the roof if she came back later and when I asked if that was open to anyone as I would love to see that view he said no, not for you and laughed. Told him that’s cruel."

"I have always liked the look of this hotel in an extremely vibrant area of San Francisco. (If you don't like a lot of happy and excited screaming and shouting from the street, you should perhaps give this place a miss.) It is one of those self-service hotels where you are sent the code to the front door and then have to download and use an app to open the bedroom door. Of course, we misremembered the front door code but were let in by a fellow guest. Then there was the issue that only one of us decided to spend the night there, and the one who was leaving was the one with the app on their phone. The bathroom was across the hallway from my room, and at two in the morning I needed a pee, accidentally locking the bedroom door behind me. My cell phone was back in the room, so I ended up sleeping in the breakfast room, naked except for a skimpy towell, until at 6am a fellow guest found me and contacted the hotel for help. So, when everything works, it is a cute, funky, clean hotel in a great area. But when you goof up, there is no safety net and you end up alone and naked in a public space. Oh well, that's very San Francisco."
