“This is the place to stay in Philipsburg. The hotel is clean, beautiful, and welcoming. The staff were incredible, always greeting us with a smile. The front desk helped call us a taxi service, and they were very reasonable. The food and drinks at the restaurant were exceptional. The beach and sunsets were spectacular. “The staff at Oyster Pond were excellent and they provided a good range of free entertainment. The daily happy hours at the bar (buy one/get one free) was great. The outdoor pool was refreshing, with lounge chairs and umbrellas always available. The only drawback is the beach, due to the sargassum (seaweed) there is a smell and it has to be raked daily. If you’re content with the pool, it’s a great place to stay, however if the beach is a must for you, consider staying elsewhere on the Caribbean……
