Especially appreciated two armchairs, decent size fridge and small outside area with table and chairs. Evening meal in the pub was also excellent. Lovely beer garden and attentive hosts. We didn't have breakfast as making an early start but ordered a packed lunch which was very handy.”

“I spent two nights at The Bear Hotel. The room was small but functional; however, the furniture was very tired and badly worn. The paint was peeling and stained in places, as though an old leak had never been properly repaired. The bathroom had also seen better days. Cleanliness was a major issue throughout my stay.
