"Stayed for 1 night for Uof T Eng Skule Nite at Hart House Theatre and after event at the Duke of York. Staff was accomodating (early checkin), room clean, nice towels, bed comfortable, heating good, low noise level (at least for my stay, although they provided ear protectors in bathroom). Easy access with proximity access cards. WiFi good for streaming, although it did drop out once for a short period. Short walk to UofT St. George Campus and St. George Subway station. Easy to get around downtown if you get a Presto transit card. I came in on VIA Rail at Union Station, so easy to travel between Union Station and the Madison. Friendly Pub where checkin is located is next door, and serves good breakfast and pub grub (beers on tap, wine liqor, etc.). It's not "fancy", but a a good *** hotel at a reasonable price in a convenient downtown location."

"Was a great stay. Parking was easy and accessible. Staff very friendly. Area of improvement would be that the Rooms were very echoey and could hear lots of sounds from hall and other units. But bot bad enough to keep me from returning."

"The hotel was kid-friendly, with lots of activities for March break. I purchased the package with parking and a food credit, and got $100 per day at the restaurant. The service and food at the restaurant was not great. The other issue is that we chose the hotel based on the pools, but the family pool was too busy so you could only reserve 2 spots per day (and had to get up at 6am to try and get a decent time). Finally, the rooms are not soundproofed at all, the windows are old and you hear every noise, the room was not clean (random stains on the floor, dusty). The floor at the family pool was also gross. Shout out to the amazing staff at the kids' activities though!"

"Staffs were very helpful and professional. Very nice room but not as expected. Ended up upgrading to a different room, the only difference was bigger with living area, no microwave. And felt uncomfortable when I saw another door , which I think goes to another room. "
