Enjoyable stay at Lifthouse condos
The Lifthouse condos are in a great position in the heart of Lionshead village, only minutes walk from the gondola. The studio/ condo is well equipped and the size is adequate for two, but it would be tight for four. We stayed for five nights. There was plenty of well designed clothes storage. It was unfortunate that the WiFI was down for the majority of our stay. We felt that the condo was average value for the price.

Perfect getaway
We visited early December and had the best ski conditions and this accommodation was the perfect location to rent skis, grab food, go shopping, and most importantly walk to the ski lift. We are already looking to return this summer.

Vail Dance
stayed here for the Vail Dance Festival. Love the location and the ease of getting the free bus to the Ford Amp. great location of Eagle Bahn Gondola, hiking, dining, shopping. Kids playground very close.

Horrendous
Our flight was delayed so we had to check in late (their office closes at 5pm) by picking up the keys from a lockbox. Upon entering the room, we realized it was not the room that was shown in the listing. We called an after hours number, which ended up being a call center in Vermont. All they could do was take down our number and tell us someone will get back to us. No one did. Not that evening, not the following day. We didn’t even bother dealing with the front desk. Room cleanliness was subpar, bed covers missing, I mean you can’t make this stuff up. Stay away, there are far better options in Lionshead Village.

Hi David, Yes, we do have an answering service for emergencies. This was not an emergency, so the service responded appropriately. If you had a complaint about the condo, the front desk was exactly who you should have talked to the next day after you arrived. We did not hear from you until now. The room you were given only had slight changes with accent colors. For all functional purposes, the room was the same as you booked online. Again, if you had spoken with the front desk, they could have helped get you into another room. Thank you for your feedback on the housekeeping. We will forward that to the housekeeping director. Dated property, needs updating! Hot tub nonfunctional per staff for years. Lots of dust on the bathroom exhaust fan. Plenty of storage space. All necessary kitchen supplies provided. We had to turn off the heat completely as it was extremely hot in the unit. There was a hole in the bathtub. Controls on hair dryer damaged. Kitchen sink faucet leaked when turned on.

Amazing Location Great Place
Brittany and the staff were extremely helpful prior to arrival. She made the whole process very easy. The room was just what I needed. Cozy with a comfortable bed. Perfect little kitchenette area in unit for quick breakfast. Fireplace with a click of a switch and a balcony over looking shops and mountain. It’s a 2 min walk to gondola with a coffee stop on the way. I will stay here again.

The unit was clean and quite livable, it's just very expensive for what it is. It's a very basic, very plain studio apartment in need of some maintenance. The premium cost (double what you might expect) is clearly just due to being in Vail, in the Lionshead village and very close to the lifts. In the future, we would try to find some place more affordable away from the village.

Awesome spot for a short trip
My 18 year old son wanted to go to vail for a few days to ski and we were lucky to find this reasonably priced condo that is steps away from the Eagle Bahn gondola!! It is a bit dated but is clean and comfortable. Beds, even the soft bed, are super comfortable. I wish they had a hot tub but we were ok without it.

This is a good value at a great location. But that’s it as far as the benefits go. The pictures are extremely misleading. Tiny space with completely outdated furnishings. The hot tub is not available and the laundry is coin operated in the basement.

Great location
Pros - location is fantastic to both the lift, lions head town( food shopping, etc) and vail village ( by walk or free town bus) - balcony was fantastic - Brittany, the manager, went above and beyond to assist my wife and I in having a fantastic stay. - Gas Fireplace was great - the little kitchen had everything we needed ( coffee maker, toaster, salt/pepper, etc) Cons: -The non-updated rooms are just that… not updated, but they are clean and comfortable. - hot water takes a while to heat during peak bathing hours. - The place is a little old but if you don’t mind that, it really is a fantastic place to stay as I certainly would stay again w/o question. Also, there are updates rooms available… Another thank you to Britttany. Just great!

Property is recently updated, good location and it was really clean. No AC but has good insulation and floor ventilators. Good deal considering location, parking and access to the bus station, walking distance to restaurants and gondola.

Perfect for young kids
Right next to the park and splash pad. Location is the highlight of this property for this price range. Rooms are spacious and well kept even though dated, they are well equipped. I would come back again, kids were happy!

Perfect location, close to everything. Rent bikes and coast downhill all the way into downtown Vail. The balcony view is pine trees and mountains with the village below. Loved the well appointed mini kitchen. Safeway grocery store only 2 miles down the road. Would come again!

4th of july stay
The condo was clean and organized as well as stocked for all the essentials in the kitchen. It did not have an odor considering it was a pet friendly condo. The view was excellent and location was awesome. The unit definitely needs some updating but it was good for our stay. Also the TV remote and the TV need some adjusting because it would not work some of the time. Otherwise our stay was very eventful and we would definitely go back

If you’re worried about not being in Vail Village, there is a bus that runs between the two and the stop is right outside of Lift House (also very walkable). Great access to the mountain and plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops.

Pros ... location, location, location ... great views from 213 (recommend X12-X15 rooms if you can get them) ... little dated facility, but for sleeping and hanging out it was great ... kitchen had everything you need to make breakfast, etc. ... beds were comfortable enough Cons ... know the parking price if you drive ($45/night) ... no hot tub (Covid closed) and no ski lockers, so everything goes back to the room (you can put stuff on veranda or in the hall) Overall, would go back for the price we paid for a holiday weekend

Perfect Snowboarding Trip Spot
Location was everything at this unit, easy access to Eagle Bahn and Born Free lifts, easy walk to nearby dining and shopping, easy to get back to the unit for a quick change of clothes. Would do again in a heartbeat.

Covid 19 restrictions
this location of this studio is excellent. However, the building and unit require significant updating. this is not the right place for a family of (3) with visiting guest or 2 joining for game night etc.. this is a dorm room style accommodation. great for 2 guys who do not care about the linens, towels, and overall condition/aesthetics of the unit. Many dorm rooms are nicer than this unit sadly. the hallways are tired and there were many wires hanging out of walls (?) making it feel odd and run down. sad. we did not have high expectations as our small dog was allowed. Yet this unit could have been terrific with updated furnishings, bedding/towels, kitchenette (circa 1978). Lastly, we had to depart just 12 hours after arriving due to Covid exposure. there is no credit or consideration for Covid impacted stays.

Great location
Nice getaway weekend. Older building so no A/C and our unit didn’t have any windows (just the slider to patio overlooking playground) so got a little warm in the afternoons but not bad. Weddings in tent on ice rink at night were loud but done by 10p. We really enjoyed the lively village setting and it was perfect for us and our dog.

Lionshead Village with Mountain View
This property was used as an accommodation for a surprise vacation for my husband. We loved it! Here is what would make us come back in a heartbeat: - Our room was dog friendly - We had a view over Lionshead straight to the mountain and it was beautiful - The room was conveniently located to wherever we wanted to go - It was quiet - The bed was comfortable and the fireplace made for a cozy night in - Great outdoor space for two - Very clean - Although we didn't use the dining room table, it was definitely a plus. Absolutely recommend staying at this property!

Awesome location
Amazing location for our small family. My husband and I switched off riding while we took turns hanging with our 2 year old. The location was perfect for what we needed but definitely nothing luxurious. The place could definitely use an update in my opinion, but overall it is a good deal for your money. Like most places in vail, an 80-90's vibe - the kitchen is super simple and not the best if you plan to cook a ton, but they did have all the necessities to make our stay comfortable. We found the pull out couch to be more comfortable than the bed, so we slept there. The pictures make it seem a bit bigger than it is, but overall the description is very accurate for what you are going to get. Close to everything in Lionshead and a short trip away from the Village. The staff was super nice and helpful as well. Not sure we would stay again because there might be some places a bit larger for not much more $$$. Overall satisfied with out stay.

The greatest feature of the property was the front desk service and assistance. Next, the location was spectacular, in the middle of lionshead, not too loud, beautiful scenery, shops, and food. The property itself was exactly as advertised, nothing over-the-top fancy, but had all the necessities to enjoy being in Vail, and was very clean.
