Quaint ski condo

Good location

We love the Sun Vail condos - this is our 4th time staying in the complex. Short walk to Lionshead Village and all the condos face the mountain. The condo was great. Very clean. Recently renovated and the furnishings and decor are very nice. Our only complaint was that we couldn't get the heat working right. We'd set the thermostat as high up as 85 and it was still very cold especially in the common areas. We were all wearing layers and using blankets when watching TV. Other than that, we love the condo and hope we can rent it again on our next family ski trip.

Cozy condo in Vail

We loved this cozy condo in Vail. The bathrooms appear to be recently renovated and are very nice with high counters and new tile, counters, hardware, etc. The kitchen is lovely with an open floor plan to the dining area and living room. The gas logs turn on with a remote and were super easy to use. The guest bedroom windows were drafty, but the heat worked and was fine.

Perfect Cozy Condo

We had a great stay in unit 23A! The condo itself was very warm and inviting with all the cookware, storage, extra bedding, etc that you need to feel right at home. The proximity to the slopes and Lionshead was also very convenient. Will definitely book again!

Home away from home

The condo was very clean and we found it to be comfortable and cozy. The open layout made it nice for hanging out while cooking, playing games, or watching TV. The bedrooms were nice size and the location of the condo was just steps from the Lionshead walkway which made it very convenient for shopping and going to the ski lifts. We would stay here again when coming to Vail.

Sun Vail 23a - Noise inside and outside and non-operational oven was not repaired

The location was convenient to Lionshead but the tradeoff was being close to the interstate and the noise it generates.....if you plan to use the deck, just be aware the noise from the interstate is constant and pretty loud. Speaking of noise, during the evenings we could hear the tenants above us walking (thumping) around in their unit, it sounded like they where wearing their ski boots! Questionable construction? The most disappointing part of the unit was the oven did not work and the weak response we got from VACASA. We notified VACASA immediately upon our arrival about the oven situation and was told they would get back to us soon. Having not heard back from them after the first full day I had to call two more times over the course of the next two days before finally speaking with a responsive represntative. The following day (now day 4 of our vacation) a technician came out to the unit to look at the oven who told us it was broken and he could not fit it? Because the unit did not meet the expectations as advertised we've asked for a partial refund and are waiting for a final response?

Awesome Condo

Loved the condo - perfect setup for the 6 of us. Everything was well stocked and it was close to the slopes! The humidifiers were a nice addition and greatly appreciated! Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Cozy home in Vail

Very cozy home with nice furniture and tableware. The home had everything that you would need ( many beds, laundry facility in the unit, great kitchen, plenty of towels and paper products....) Very clean and comfortable place. Very close to ski resort, but you need to drive or catch the bus. Highly recommend.

Great location and great place

Comfortably decorated, well-stocked kitchen, beautiful view of the mountain, everything worked (we really enjoyed the gas fireplace), the tip for Vail Ski Tech rentals was A plus. Such a great trip!
