You couldn't ask for a better location, we were steps away from the Louvre and the Opera, and only five minutes from the shopping on St. Honoré. “This apartment is located in a quiet area, yet close to shopping and restaurants. The Bourse Metro station is at the end of the block, there is an excellent bakery on the corner, perfect for breakfast, or take away salads and sandwiches. The rooms are a bit small, by American standards. There are two compact clothing storage areas on each side of the bed. The bathroom has two storage drawers. “The apartment is in a very good location to get to The Marais, Beaubourg and the river within a 10 minute walk. It is quiet at night and we felt safe. It is air conditioned and has a good shower room. However, it is to all intents and purposes, hermetically sealed with no usable opening windows and the windows have obscure film or shutters on them so you can’t see outside- necessary, presumably, because it is at street level. “Great location, but unfortunately the apartment itself was very disappointing. The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable, and the bathroom had mold. The shower was clogged, there was a lagoon every time we shower and had an unpleasant smell. Overall, the apartment looked poorly maintained and as though it was not well cared for.
