「We truly enjoyed our stay here. The house was more than adequately stocked. We truly appreciated being able to use the kayaks. There were toys for the kids. The extras like the highchair and jumper were a huge help for our grand daughter !!!」

「The house was perfectly situated for me to explore areas in and around Hickory. Quick and easy 5 minute drive to Hickory Lake Park to walk my dog and ride my bike on the off-road trails. 20 minute drive to Bakers Park and Riverbend Park for more trail walking. House was pleasantly cooled with a/c, ceiling fans above the bed, and the mattress comfortable provided for a great nights sleep. 」

The kids could launch the kayaks on their own. The cottage looked just like the pictures in the listing. We had everything we needed, and more. The hosts we so kind, and quick to respond. 「Our family had a great time at the Heron's Cove Cottage, this was our second visit. The house is perfect for our family of 6, clean and has a beautiful view of the Sandbar. The Sandbar Marina and Grill is close by and the house is close to many restaurants and grocery stores. Highly recommend. 」

Cute house with a lovely backyard space that our dog enjoyed very much. We were very comfortable in the house. Absolutely recommend and would stay there again if we head back to that area.」

「Birdsong is an adorable cottage & perfect place for me to stay while in town for several weeks. We were lucky that the flowers on the property were blooming so it was extra pretty! The cottage is close to uptown and 74, and is the perfect size for two people! Marywinn was wonderful and easy to deal with, quick to communicate and I highly recommend her property if you're staying in Shelby! 」
