「This was right in the town and perfect for walking. There is a bar outside the apartment that can get quite loud but only until Midnight so don't worry, the location makes up for that. Overall service level is very good. We probably need a more sensible solution if we need to call a cab from the city."

"We chose to spend a night here for our honeymoon. The hotel provides a very convenient—and free—shuttle service, which is incredibly thoughtful given that Varenna is a town nestled on a hillside. They can pick you up and drop off anytime from either the train station or the ferry pier ! The location is also perfect—right across from the church and just a short walk to the romantic lakeside path. Upon arrival, the staff greeted us with warm hospitality and pleasantly surprised us with a room upgrade. Every single staff member we encountered was wearing a smile; in fact, no matter who was at the front desk, they always remembered my name. As a traveler from Taiwan, I felt completely welcomed and experienced absolutely no discrimination whatsoever. It was such a touching and attentive touch for our honeymoon. The hotel boasts a breathtaking lake view, allowing guests to enjoy the scenery peacefully away from the crowded areas. It is the perfect choice for anyone looking to relax and have a wonderful experience in Lake Como."
