Venice

We have a couple of great nights with our adult kids in Venice. The place fit our needs as kids used the twins downstairs and we had the top. Location was perfect and while the private boat taxi isnt cheap it was perfect drop off and pick up spot to the airport.

Beware of misinformation

Listing is for 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and 2 half bathrooms. It is NOT! This is a studio with no bedrooms and 3 places to sleep: a bed, and 2 couches that turn into bed. ONLY 1 bathroom and 1 half bathroom. We chose this property based on their listing and paid extra to find out that all 6 of us slept in 1 room and had to use 1 tiny shower.

Property manager sent email with entry directions with photos. The photos were not of the outer door buzzer or key box for the apartment. Apartment ranges over three floors with beautiful decorative and useless railing. The stairs were treacherous for older adults…we are in our 70’s. One of the two bathrooms had a deep tub- we could not use , the other a shower. The shower bathroom had not lights.We had hot water every few days. There were no instructions for kitchen appliances. Lastly, each person had two towels and there was only one towel for kitchen. Apartment was eagerly equipped. It was wonderful located and clean.Not for older adults.
