Home from Home

A veritable home from home plus exceedingly quit and spacious with every amenity. So useful to have a washing machine/tumble dryer. The bed is very comfortable.

Very comfortable annex to owners house. All mod cons, including a washer/dryer that was not mentioned when we booked. Excellent location to get anywhere on the Island. Friendly hosts.

Great base to explore IOW (by car), nowhere is very far away.Enjoyed visiting Godshill, Shipwreck Centre, Carisbrooke Castle, Newtown Nature Reserve, Freshwater Bay (great waves!), Cowes, Sandown, Ventnor and Shanklin. Also climbed Bembridge Windmill and had lunch at St Helen's beach.Had a boiler breakdown on first morning so had no hot water for 4 days, happened on the Friday so difficult to find someone to repair it. The home owners were very apologetic (no-one's fault) and did all they could and we managed boiling some water in the kettle.We did enjoy our stay, thank you.

Well-equipped, comfortable modern property with easy car parking. Fully equipped kitchen, Sky TV and strong wifi connection. Well- located for reaching the main destinations, but nowhere is far on the Isle of Wight. Bus stops nearby. Deck chairs provided in the cupboard under the stairs: ideal for sitting in the courtyard outside. Bed is extremely comfortable.
