Just what I needed

It was very quaint and perfect for me. I needed a place for a little over a week while my apartment is undergoing construction and this was a nice getaway that was perfect for me and my 2 cats. Great cable options, movies, comfy bed, coffee. I was impressed!

Cute place

Cute little cottages that are in the process of being redone. We where double booked so had to be moved at the last minute which was a bit frustrating since we were not told prior to arrival.

Cottage Needs Work-

The set up of cottages on the Indian River is a very nice concept & layout. However, the #5 Wahoo Cottage we stayed in needs work. There is a hole in the wall just above the couch that is the size of a coffee can. The wall in the dining room is fractured and falling apart. The closet in the master bedroom has mold on the ceiling, the bathroom is missing one of the sliding glass doors (and the one remaining one wasn't clean), the white binder that tells you about the area falls apart when you open it. The couch in the living room looks so warn that my husband wouldn't sit on it therefore, simple pleasures like watching a movie weren't an option. I'm not sure if the owners of this property have stopped in to see the condition of the items listed above, but I am in hopes they will now. These cottages are a neat little set up with great amenities, it was a shame that our cottage was in neglectful shape.

No pudimos entrar ni a la cabaña fuimos expulsados por el dueño , llevamos a nuestros cachorros beagles y segun él es ilegal llevar más de 2 perros , no pudimos tratar de buscar una solucion , pensé dejar a los otros en un hotel para perros o un daycare , pero el dueño estaba muy agresivo, indignado , mal educado , prácticamente nos botó de ahi , no pudimos ni dialogar y para colmo no quisieron reenvolsar dinero . Típico gringo racista que no soporta a los latinos .

A Wonderful Time Capsule

The "casita" was reminiscent of the bungalows I remember in the 1960s in Rockaway Beach, New York. Very cozy with the simplest of comforts; all that is needed when near the sea. The grounds are well kept in a quiet neighborhood near the Indian River. We enjoyed so many pleasant walks to the pier with our pets. Bring a 3pin to 2 pin AC adapter if you plan to spend your time connected to a laptop. As far as I was concerned it was one more reason to disconnect and feel the Earth again.
