The view was stunning. The trip up the side of the hill was an adventure. Could use fans to circulate air in the place. Overall everyone had a great experience. Was located so that we could do day trips to Pisa, Luca and Florence. The owner was friendly and very helpful. Beautiful place.

We spend two weeks at the Casa Cielo and we simply loved it! The little village is far away from all the usual stress and hectic pace of cities, yet it is located in the centre of Tuscany, so that one can easily reach Lucca, Florence, Viareggio and many other places by car. The house is simply fantastic - there is no other word for it! The furnishing is very atmospheric, the home appliances are up-to-date, the three bedrooms are spacious, and the balcony is simply huge and offers a view over the surrounding mountains. We can really recommend it!

What a magnificent place to experience the mountains! The house is utterly charming and convenient - 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for the 5 of us. We loved making meals in the kitchen on our stay at home days. We had lovely evening card games and dinner out on the terrace, and enjoyed the dark skies and stars. The clothes dry wonderfully in the late morning/afternoon sun. We appreciated the starters of coffee, tea, salt, oil, toilet paper, and laundry pods. It also helped to have a panini maker to make toasts. Opening the kitchen window over the geranium basket was my favorite morning ritual! And the water... delightfully fresh and soft! It is far away from conveniences and sites. Bagni di Lucca, where the big grocery store is, is 9 kms away and it is a 14km drive from the base. Each night, as we returned from Lucca, Pisa, Siena, we had an additional 40 minute drive up. The house also does not have a microwave, so we reheating was done traditionally, which we did not mind. We loved the peace and quiet, and the cool, away from the heat and crowds of the city. The bell tower that rang every half hour, the bread delivery that comes around every morning, and the charming cobbled streets made for a wonderful experience. Lisa was easy to communicate with via whatsapp and checked in with us upon our entry and exit.

Wunderschöne Haus, mit sehr Nette Besitzer die auf jeden detail achten. Wunderbare Natur. Der weg zum Dorf sehr schwierig im Winder. Wir hatten glück das es nicht geschneit hat.

Nach einer kleinen Serpentinenfahrt von Lucca aus erreicht man das scheinbar kleine Boveglio (nach einem Spaziergang merkt man, dass es nicht nur aus zwei Häusern besteht). Das sehr liebevoll eingerichtete Haus "Casa Cielo" hat unsere Erwartungen mehr als übertroffen. Der Ausblick und die unglaubliche Ruhe laden zum Entspannen und Wohlfühlen ein. Der großzügige Garten und der Grill stehen zur Verfügung. Der Garten verfügt ebensfalls über unzählige italienische Kräuter, mit denen das Kochen noch mehr Spaß macht. Zum Thema Kochen: die Küche ist im rustikalen Stil eingerichtet. Der Gasherd ist ein Blickfang. Die große als auch die kleine Terrasse gehörten zu unseren Lieblingsplätzen im Haus. Das Wohnzimmer ist liebevoll und detailreich eingerichtet. Die restlichen Zimmer sind großzügig geschnitten, auch das Bad konnte sich sehen lassen. Die Bilder lügen nicht. Die Städte Pisa, Lucca, Livorno, Siena und Florenz sind gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Bis zur Küste ist es auch nicht weit. Wobei gesagt werden muss, dass wir uns auf "unserem Berg" am wohlsten gefühlt haben. Mit ner Flasche Wein auf der Terrasse und dann den Sonnenuntergang und die unglaubliche Stille genießen. Ein perfekter dritter Urlaub bei euch. Liebe Lisa, lieber Luca, wir danken euch von Herzen für die schöne Zeit!

Niesamowita okolica nawet przerazajaca cisza, spokój i urokliwe miejsce. Bardzo wysoko i krete drogi ale warto było sie wspiąć. Klucz w doniczce wyposazenie pelne i czysto, piekne ogrody z kwiatami i ziolami. Niezapomniany pobyt no i te usmiechy i powitania mieszkańców wioski. Polecam szczegolnie ludziom z miasta i zabieganym - cisza i letarg. Fajne miejsce wypadowe do Pizy, Florencji no i polecamy Lukę. Na miejscu zabawny bar Ferrari z zabawnym właścicielem, który na nasze przybycie wlaczyl swiatlo i lodowke zeby piwko bylo zimne, nieoceniony klimat.

Wir waren knapp 2 Wochen in dieser sehr schönen Wohnung. Alles entsprach den Beschreibungen und eingestellten Fotos. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier hin kommen. Der Kontakt war jederzeit problemlos möglich. Die Vermieter Luca und Lisa sehr fürsorglich und nett.

Desideravamo una vacanza di relax ma anche qualche attività...una giornata sulla neve dell'Abetone (ad un'oretta di macchina), una giornata alla SPA e poi quel meraviglioso camino....il silenzio del paesino, il rintocco dell'orologio della torre, gli animali tutt'intorno, ed il panorama...tutto ciò che desideravamo per questa nostra breve ma indimenticabile vacanza. La casa è caldissima, viverla è spettacolare: tante finestre e finestrine, scorci sul panorama, pietra, legno calore... Meravigliosa... Grazie Lisa e Luca

Die Wohnung ist mit viel Liebe restauriert worden für uns war es sehr schön da wir zu 6 dort waren wäre ein Geschirrspüler schön gewesen . Da die Wohnung ziemlich weit oben liegt ist nachts ca 10C kälter als im Tal was sehr gut war

Die Wohnung ist wirklich groß und sauber. Die Lage ist einmalig. Wir haben zu spät die Quelle ein paar Meter die Straße runter entdeckt. Ebenso die Bar im Ort, die mehr als einen Besuch wert ist. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war immer schnell und sehr freundlich. Insgesamt hatten wir einen großartigen Urlaub im 'Himmelshaus'.

Estuvimos en Casa Cielo. Una preciosa casa rústica muy bien reformada. El pueblo de Boveglio es precioso y el lugar muy tranquilo. Además, al estar en un sitio elevado no tuvimos que padecer el calor que hacía en el resto de la Toscana, pudiendo dormir bien por la noche. El propietario Luca estuvo siempre muy atento y nos dio buenos consejos de restaurantes y lugares cercanos para visitar. Es una región montañosa y agreste de pueblos perdidos, que no se corrresponde con la imagen clásica de la Toscana, pero que a su vez está cerca de Pisa, Luca y Florencia, y que merece la pena conocer.
