"We arrived via the not fit to drive at night broken road and upon arriving decided NOT to stay even though we had paid. The hotel pics must be very old as it looks like something from a horror film. Flaky paint, badly kept gardens and flies in our room. We handed back the key and left. The road to the property is horrendous. "High recommend, owner made an effort to make sure we had everything needed. Very good restaurant on site maybe one of the best in town. This town has a free shuttle from the public parking lot and stop directly at the hotel and other stops in town. Parking is always my biggest issue with visiting towns in Italy and this gets an A+. Also, I left two bags in my car in the lot and they were still there in the morning so I felt it was very safe and secure."

"Even though there was a large picture of a swimming pool in the advertisement, it cost 30 euros per person for an hour and a half. This included the spa facility but we were not interested in the spa, only the pool. Also we were unlucky when a group of cyclists (30 of them) had dinner at the same time as us on the first day and they were so loud that we could not talk amongst ourselves. Otherwise the food was very good and so was the service."

"What a fantastic property, this house has so much character. The grounds are idyllic and the pool was a life saver with temperatures topping 40! The host was great and settled us in well, we had no issues during our stay. The property was clean and filled with quirky memorabilia. The property location was great also for easy access to the south, the Agrigento and the coast, there is a fantastic water park 40 mins away too which the kids loved.The local restaurant at the Fattoria di San Francesco was brilliant, but make sure you book. Another recommendation would be the pizza takeaway in Pietraperzia Bella Sicillia, we got food from their twice .Highly recommend sthe property to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in Central Sicily."

"We’d found the lodging by chance as we were driving across the island. The owner met us in front of the home at 10pm, all smiles, and in the room we found every conceivable amenity from ear plugs to toiletries. Clean and delightful. The breakfast the next morning was set up for the two of us with place settings, fruit, a cake that was a local specialty, meats, cookies, and she even made us farm fresh eggs. Amazing! A nice surprise after a long journey."
