"LOVED our stay. The hotel is an easy walk from the ferry. We did have a car and parking was available and free. The rooms were great and the breakfast buffet had lots of options from typical European breakfast to eggs & bacon. We didn’t get to try the hotel restaurant for dinner but it looked good!
We will definitely make another trip here when we can. Worth the detour out from the mainland!"
"We loved this hotel! didnt want to leave! we loved the bartender Maciej. He effortlessly combined that expertise with a deep knowledge of Icelandic culture, history, and local recommendations.
The rooms are big and modern, comfy and the included breakfast was delicious! cant wait to come back!"
"Was a great last stop for us on the ring road after staying in guesthouses for a week. We had our own kitchen, laundry and bathroom and the host was very sweet, she gave us a bottle of milk from their dairy cows. They just took over the farm a couple months ago and are making a new start of it. The furnishings are very plain but clean and you have all you need with more amenities than most other places we stayed, recommended!"
"The standalone cabin was very well appointed. Great layout in a grassy meadow with picturesque views of waterfalls. The best part of this property is that you have 24/7 access to Seljanfoss waterfalls. We drove the 6 minute drive to the falls at 11:30 at night. We were able to experience the waterfalls with 10 other people! I believe the property is building a restaurant which would be a Boone since the only other food around this area is a 20 minute drive. Note there is no reception area to check in. The only hiccup was that we had to phone the property manager to have access to our place. Luckily, they answered quickly and resolved the issue."
