Shelter from the storm!
Second stay here and the staff are excellent. The bar and restaurant are also very good. We stayed on a very windy weekend and it felt like a cosy sanctuary. It is in very close proximity to Amsterdam with enough interest locally to make it a unique spot. great service and my ageing parents were made to feel very welcome.

Fabulous Sea Front Hotel
I could not recommend this hotel enough, our room was clean comfortable and very warm, fabulous sea front view, the staff so friendly and nice, room cleaned daily and fresh towels etc, breakfast was perfect. Atmosphere was lovely.

Ok hotel, would definitely not stay there again t.
Rooms had absolutely no extras, no ice machine and when we asked for some ice for our room we got a small drinking glass with a few cubes. The restaurant food is very pricey. Some of the staff was friendly but most were not at all.

Excellent stay at Hotel Old Dutch!
We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was excellent, bed really comfy (and I'm super picky about that), staff very pleasant. Re-stocking breakfast in a more timely manner should be addressed- that was my only gripe. Otherwise everything was perfect and I will gladly recommend this hotel to friends and family (or strangers). :)

Friendly, helpful staff and a very good breakfast, this had an excellent variety including smoked salmon which I loved!. Building, lift and the room in itself are all in good condition although quite old.it has a great view to the see and Voledam is a lovely small town. I would recommend. Thanks.

Volendam’s Harbour Gem
You can’t get a better location to stay and start your adventure to the Dutch waterlands and fishing village harbours than the Old Dutch Hotel. It’s a 30min bus ride from Amsterdam Centraal and a short 8 min walk from the bus stop to hotel. The stay includes a simple but adequate buffet breakfast, but restaurant below serves an awesome lunch and dinner menu. If you stay more than one day, there are plenty of other meal options all along the harbour.

Room was so dark, even with all the lights on... Furniture was old as well, you will like it if you are into vintage style... And noisy outside the room, people went in and out frequently, sounds like they've entered your room, terrible experience...

Very Central hotel
Super-central hotel. Walk out the door & you are in the middle of the touristy part - cafes/shops etc. I don’t think you can park your car at the hotel so You have to walk a way with your bags but it’s dead flat so it wasn’t a problem. Would stay here again for sure.

Hotel location is excellent as right on harbor front. Lovely views. Get detail of where to park before arrival as there in no vehicle access to the hotel after 11am and it is very busy and congested with pedestrians. Breakfast quite basic but adequate. Staff friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant excellent. The double bed was not actually a double but two singles together.
