Delta Hotels by Marriott Preston
10/10 Excellent
"Always Clean and always a superb breakfast with super friendly/helpful staff. Shame that the Costume Drying Machine in the Spa Men's Changing Room was not only Out of Order but had been taken off the wall. I hope it comes back as it is an excellent amenity. The Car Park continues to be very disappointing. I realise it is managed by a 3rd Party not the hotel but there are pot holes everywhere and it is in such a state. It brings the hotel down in my opinion."
Holiday Inn Express Preston - South by IHG

"Nice welcome on checking in, hotel was clean and tidy. Well equipped room. I was travelling for work so it was great for me. I used the Tesla charger on site. I would stay again for work purposes."

"Easy to find. Clear instructions from the owner on how to get the key. Convenient for the railway station. The room itself was compact but very clean and had everything we needed. The only negative was how hot the room was. It had been a hot day and with being on the top floor, the room was very hot. There was little to no airflow from the windows. The fan was ok but just blew hot air around. Even in the morning when the outside temperature was reasonable, the room was still around 25/26 degrees. However, this is factor of the heatwave more than anything else and if the outside temperature had been more reasonable it would have been faultless."

"Room clean and adequate size. Would have been nice to have a fridge but we were given fresh water. Although there is no air on, they do provide a floor fan. Evening meal was delicious, as was the wine. English breakfast was ok - I couldn’t eat the sausages as it was very over seasoned with white pepper, so I didn’t enjoy it, but hubby who loves pepper was happy to eat mine. Check in and out was very easy. Annoyingly because we hadn’t booked direct with the hotel we where charged £12 parking."
Crow Wood Hotel & Spa Resort

"Great day at the wedding I would say however; the drinks are very expensive. I also couldn’t understand why I could not purchase a drink at the bar in the main foyer (I was a guest at the wedding but was also staying overnight). I understand you are trying to keep all the wedding guests in the hired room but sometimes guests just want to chill out for half hour or so. The annoying thing was that some wedding guests were being served in the main foyer and, others were being refused."
