“This small house gives the exact Japanese vibe I was looking for with some modern amenities. The place is clean and has everything we need listed. The owner is very responsive with communication and helpful. The location is in a quiet neighborhood away from the busy tourist attractions but still only 7 - 10 mins walk away from a subway station. The kitchen has everything we needed to cook simple meal including searing Wagyu beef as breakfast!!!”

“We booked for a group of 8 adults and a toddler for 3 nights. It was a nice change from tiny hotel rooms! Each floor has its own bathroom, kitchen, king bed, sofas, and Japanese style sleeping mats. Each floor also has a washer/dryer and projector screen. Very spacious! It was also very clean, including the outdoor spaces. Check in and check out were a breeze. The quiet location was great. There are a lot of restaurants, convenience stores, and shopping within 5 minutes. The subway station is……

“Great location with easy access from main train station and plenty of restaurants options nearby. We travelled with two young kids and the playground behind the property was handy. However, if you are planning on cooking there is only one old frying pan.”

The host had awesome recommendations for places very near the house and it's a short walk from Higashi Nagasaki station on Seibo Line. It's fantastic! “It was a great place to stay. Across the street from a temple and large cemetery. Sweet residential neighborhood but close to lots of restaurants and a major shopping street. Easy walk to the train station. But we took a cab in and out with our luggage. So nice to have more space than a 120 sq ft hotel room for a similar price. The host was very responsive to questions.”
