“This camp lodge is absolutely beautiful and feels like stepping back into a simpler time. It has a charming, nostalgic atmosphere that reminds me of a classic 1950s getaway. “Quaint comfortable inn”

“Affordable hotel close to lots of shops and restaurants. View from the rooms isn’t as good as the picture seen online, and breakfast offerings could be better, but a solid B grade overall.”

“The room was clean and the staff helpful. The pictures of the exterior garden were not accurate. The garden needs to be better maintained.”

“Loved, loved, loved it! Right downtown Camden. We walked to the Grand Harbor Inn for supper looking over the harbor then on to the Camden Cove for Ice Cream. We walked back licking our ice cream cones. The unit was super clean, the beds were comfy, and the shower was hot! We had a continental breakfast the next morning in the kitchen (avocado toast) while chatting with another guest. We totally recommend this place!”

“Great spot”

“Great spot. Close to downtown! We had a great time! The only issue was we were close to the patio and fire pit. We could here the people outside after certain hours. Not that I'm against people having a blast just was hard to sleep when it was loud.”

“This was exactly what we needed on our drive up to Acadia National Park. A clean, non-expensive hotel room to stay the night. We got delayed on our trip and the office left instructions on how to get the keys and get into our rooms, including a well drawn map. I'm taking off 1 star simply b/c there were only 2 towels in each room even though the reservation had 4 people in each room. I'm sure Hotels put 2 towels in each room as they turn them over, but it's a pet peeve of mine that someone……

“This is our second time staying there and we honestly have no complaints. It was 65° out in the outdoor pool was 85. Naomi was excellent and very attentive. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms are very clean and nicely decorated.”

“I’ve stayed here multiple times and always had a great experience — the location alone keeps me coming back. That’s what made this visit so disappointing. The floor in our room was visibly dirty. My daughter walked barefoot and her feet were black. It clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly in some time. Boothbay has limited affordable options, and this place has real potential. But cleanliness isn’t a luxury — it’s a baseline. I hope management takes this seriously, because I’d genuinely like to……

“Room was clean, view was really great, bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Bathroom was very small and cramped with sink area open to room. Parking area in need of work, paving and organization. Office closing at 8:00 PM a little concerning but after hour access provided was acceptable. ”

“Overall good, a bit run down on the inside”

“We absolutely loved our stay at the Rockland Talbot House. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was very, very comfortable. The property is a beautiful, well kept house from the 1800's with lots of character and original pieces. The Inn has a wonderful coffee machine with hot lattes, cereal, oatmeal, muffins and other pastries for breakfast as well as fresh fruit, juices and yogurt. The Rockland Talbot House is only a few blocks away from downtown Rockland and for those of you who love……
