「What a lovely art deco maintained hotel! All fitted out in appropriate style. We didn't eat there, but the food smelled terrific when we arrived in the late evening. Very friendly staff and a most comfortable room. Loved the residents' sitting/dining room upstairs.」

「The bush room was very comfortable and I'm sorry we weren't able to see it in the daylight as I think the views from the little outside balcony would have been brilliant. (arrived late and off before dawn for the Anzac service). A little care to be taken going down the steps to use the bathroom in the main house, (as I said it was dark) but otherwise all good and suited our needs. Thankyou to Grant for picking us up at the station as the train was very delayed.」

「We paid extra for an ‘upgrade’ however they only have one room type and all rooms are shared bathroom. It was outright stealing neither Expedia or the hotel willing to refund the extra $71 I paid. Outright disgusting. Loud music and fighting out front all night. Bathroom was absolutely disgusting.」
