“Extremely comfy bed. Clean room. Big room. Best breakfast ever. Highly recommend”

“Lots of roaches. Door didn't lock all the way, stains on pillows, small fridge was falling off the shelf, toilet wasn't secured to the floor, bathtub/shower was nasty, caulking had mold in it. Floors were not clean, floors were sticky, A/C couldn't be adjusted. Staff at the front looked annoyed that I was even checking in.”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Duff Green! The antiques are beautiful, the pool is lovely and the staff are so welcoming! Miss Laurie hosted a wine happy hour and told us ghost stories and history of the house. Breakfast was very tasty. My husband was hesitant about staying at a B&B but he loved it! I highly recommend!”

“The staff is super kind and as helpful as they can be. The problem doesn't lie with the staff, it lies with corporate or whomever controls the purse strings. The rooms have well exceeded their sell by date. The carpets are so worn out and, in some places, sticky - yes sticky!. The curtains are stained from years of humidity and rarely do they close completely. I thought my stay recently may have been a one off and came back again the next week. It was not a one off! I went to the first room and……

“We walked in to a room so thick with the smell of mold you could chew on it. Dead Cockroaches all over the floor. Large dead spider in the shower. With webbing all over the curtains that had these weird red mite looking things. Cobwebs all around the head of bed and night stand. We stayed less than 10 minutes and fighting for a refund. Honestly needs to be reviewed by the department of health.”

“We booked a river view room (online says stairs, but it’s 3 flights of stairs) but when we went in the room it was 80 degrees inside. Asked at the front desk & they said that’s was normal but they could move us. They moved us to Uncle Henry’s room, nice but smaller (not close to what we paid for…queen bed instead of king, not a suite, no whirlpool tub) but it was 71 degrees. Nice room but there was some mold on the bathroom ceiling & the bathroom vent was very dirty. Small refrigerator was……

“The stay at this beautiful house was more than I could ask for. The room was plenty spacious for my wife and myself. Bed was very comfortable and sheets smelled very clean. We did not get to enjoy the pool but it looked very well kept. Breakfast was where it shined as Ms. Noelle knocked it out of the park. Will be coming back here again for the near future!”
