We booked a room with a queen and pull out bed. They sent us to a room with only a bed. Had to put my family in two separate rooms because they overbooked. Then I stepped on a piece of glass in our room and had to dig it out. So could have been better..

We were in Cedar Falls for the AAU Iowa State Championship meet. The breakfast didnt have any breakfast style eggs (hard boiled only) no waffles. The hotel states the rooms are sound proofed, but they arent! kids were running up and down the halls at least until 11ish pm, when we had to be up and checked out by 645 am

Don't recommend staying here. Staff entered my room at 9:30 at night to "check housekeeping" said sorry I didn't know you were here. I didn't check out and was not scheduled to check out for 3 more days. I let housekeeping in one day to take trash and replace towels. After coming back from the days events. I found I was missing medication. I suspect they entered my room that late at night hoping to score more of my medication. Management did nothing but make excuses as to why that might enter my room so late at night. Shady business. I checked out immediately and found another hotel.

When we first got there, we were worried that it wasn't going to be a good stay. Luckily, the hotel was better than the first impression. Walk in and it kind of had an old hotel smell but looked really nice. The lady at check in was nice and let us check in early. She did not give is any info regarding our stay, such as Wi-Fi info, pool hours or breakfast hours. The hallway was hot and the carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a while which made us worried about our room condition. Great news, our room was actually really nice and clean.

Must call phone at desk for staff. Out of yogurt for breakfast , staff said too crowded to fill it. Wall Paint color chips in bathroom. Fitness needs disinfectant wipes and water. Remodel missing some trim in bathroom

They didn't clean our room 3 days in a row. When asked, the front desk clerk said "sorry, we are short staffed so we only clean rooms that were checking out." There is a note in the rooms stating they will clean rooms every other day to conserve natural resources. The fire alarm activated at 3AM due to a malfunction in the pool's mechanical room. The next night the fire alarm activated at 10PM & then again at 11PM, due to the same issue as the previous night...

This was my second stay in the same month and my experience was just as good as the first. The room was exceptionally clean and staff wonderfully helpful and kind. The proximity to highways, local services, and the college make this an ideal location for parents who are visiting their children.
