「Our weekend at Rory’s home was everything and then some. The hospitality was truly unmatched. Rory bought us a new grill, provided pizza, and gave us fantastic suggestions to go do in the area. There was so much to do around the house between using the kayaks during the day and ending the night by the bonfire. I highly recommend staying here for a weekend getaway, reunion, or even to just unwind and get away from the city. 10/10 experience, would absolutely stay here again! 」

「Great stay to be so close to the lake. Provided plenty of lake accessories so you would need to pack minimal equipment. The pictures are a little deceiving as you are on top of a steep hill with Route 39 (which is busy) between the house and dock. We brought our dogs who are well behaved and stay pretty close. I would be concerned if my dog did not have good recall or young children. However, being situated on top of the hill provides a nice view! 」

「Cozy and peaceful property. Well maintained and spacious. Everything you need and more. Located in a wonderful neighborhood and close to restaurants and attractions. This little bungalow will one we love to return to. Thank you for sharing it with us.」

「Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt in dem kleinen, aber sehr gemütlichen Haus. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und die Gegend sehr ruhig, sodass wir immer entspannt schlafen konnten. Den Kindern hat insbesondere der Keller mit dem Tischkicker gefallen. Die Lage war perfekt, um alle Highlights in Connecticut in kurzer Zeit erreichen zu können. Absolut empfehlenswert.」

「Delightful stay! Quiet and cozy property that was fully-stocked and super clean. Charmingly decorated for a beach cottage feel.Whole family loved the patio with direct access from the kitchen, which enabled coffee/meals (and work email!) on the picnic table. Kayaks and paddle boards were very much appreciated, as was the dock for swimming off of. 「We visited over a holiday weekend. The house is clean and a good size for the 3 adults in our group and our dog. It is in walking distance to several stores and a park. We would stay again if we were in the area. 」
