"This house was very small but cute and the layout worked well. It is close enough to downtown and the beach to enjoy dinner out, time at the pier and a relaxing day at the beach. It is also far enough away from the crowds of spring break offering a great get away. This house would be perfect for a family with kids that don't mind bunking all together for an all-night giggle session. We would definitly return for more visits"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The view was beautiful and with 4 kids, we loved being just steps away from the beach. Everything was exactly as described in the listing and the directions to find the property, as well as check in, were simple and easy to understand. The host was incredibly responsive as well. We hope to return for another trip in the near future!"

"Excellent location, the immediate beach area is off limits to vehicles, which keeps it quiet and very nice. We had some timing issues so did have to contact the host, who responded very quickly. 100% as advertised, great unobstructed ocean view with a great porch to see it from. There was nothing we needed that wasn't available to us, including some beach necessities. Perfect distance to shopping and food without being downtown, which was fairly busy. Everyone we did business with was super friendly and helpful in town. We rode horses on the beach, bought and flew a kite, rode the ferry to Port Bolivar (and saw dolphins!), and ate at some great places.Recommend: Katie's Seafood in the wharf, Starboard Side Cafe - a food truck that has amazing breakfast, Landry's Seafood, and Kites Unlimited.Would definitely stay again if we come back to the area."

"The house was great, right on the beach and had all the amenities. We will be back! Highly recommended and the areas is very FAMILY friendly! Created very nice memories! The family of rabbits living in the neighborhood was cute for the kiddos! No natural predators there, just storks and gulls."

"Super cute, salty little place right on the beach!! Very clean, comfortable, well appointed. Short drive to restaurants and shopping, but away from the bustle of the East End. Only drawback for us was the construction next door; the neighbors are building a house from the ground up, and beachside properties are often close together. We flew in on a Thursday and out on a Sunday—it’s quiet on weekends and evenings. We would definitely stay here again when that’s all wrapped up. "
