"We had a lovely time relaxing at Maureen’e cottage for the weekend. Sitting in the garden, taking in the mountain view, and listening to the surrounding wildlife was the perfect respite from hectic city life. As artists, we felt right at home among the artwork and vintage treasures around the house. We enjoyed a hearty breakfast at the Village Diner, and loved exploring the Saugerties Lighthouse Trail - only ten minutes away! Thank you Maureen for a wonderful stay. - Dave and Alie"

"Booked a last minute 2 night stay and wish it could have been longer. The house and property is exactly as described. Comfortable, spacious, clean and on a nice quiet piece of land. Loved the outdoor spaces, enjoying coffee on the deck in the mornings and a drink by the fire pit during the evenings. Nicely located to easily enjoy Woodstock, Kingston and Rhinebeck. I bet it will be beautiful as the leaves start to change in the next month!"

"We were visited by 2 deer each evening and there is a resident ground hog which we enjoyed, Being able to walk to town is a stretch of the truth as the road is busy with no walking path however it is a very short ride. We had 2 good meals in Allason restaurant and caffe coffee shop is superb. I just wish we had a king size bed and a bit larger of a shower. All in all a very nice cottage with a lovely stream and a lot of tranquility."

"We had a fantastic stay in Valentyna's home. We had a large group of 16 at the home during labor day weekend. We found the house large, clean, updated and had plenty of space. The bedrooms are roomy, the living spaces are even larger than pictured, and the five different outdoor areas are fantastic. The house has every amenity you can ask for. Direct lake access is steps from the house and the house is close to Hunter for the winter months. We had a great time and would happily stay again. "

"Matt has a great modern set up for 2 people to stay with simple but effortless accommodations. We loved our week long stay as Matt anticipated everything we could need. Ample towels, all the soap and toiletries one could need as well as a comfortable minimalist aesthetic. It was everything we could have asked for including a fire pit which we didn’t actually use but was a great addition to our stay should we want to. It overall all excellent stay!"

"We really enjoyed our stay in Hunter. The house met our needs well for a large family gathering. The hot tub and game room were excellent. Beutiful inside.It is close to shopping and hiking trails in the area. We did a lot of cooking and could have used larger cutting boards and baking/roasting pans. Be aware that the house is right on the main road into Hunter. The pinball machine was frustrating at times because the ball would get stuck.Overall it was a great stay."

"Our late summer visit to the Catskill Mountains was very relaxing even with a 2-year-old. The kids enjoyed the pool the most and the property owners provided many pool toys for all. We enjoyed the hot tub also. There was plenty of room. WIFI was spotty, but no one had to work and that forces us to relax. Everyone reported they had a great time. "We loved the pool especially - entertaining for the entire family ranging from age 7 months to 72 years. A beautiful blue heron flew overhead often enjoying the adjacent small pond. The house included most all of what we needed though the first floor bedroom was much too small for anything but the bed. "

"Communication with host was top notch. The home is beautifully decorated (however probably not young children friendly as furnishings are light and airy, lots of light colors). The pool is wonderful and gets great sun. One caveat, not a good fit if you have mobility issues (I don't, I like the stairs and the exercise! But it would be rough if you have bad knees). I loved the property and I say THANK YOU! Nicely appointed and decorated."
