“Recently enjoyed a 2nt stay for a family wedding. The staff are simply the best - across the board from the reception, restaurant team, bar staff, function 'master of ceremony' - even the housekeeping team, could not have been more friendly, professional, helpful, courteous and keen to go above and beyond the make ours and the rest of the guests stay a thoroughly excellent experience. Without being seen or heard, the back of house team knocked it out of the park because their efforts enabled……

“You'll need to manage your expectations if staying here. Its cheap & its cheap for a reason. Its not Travelodge style accommodation, but (I suspect) cheaply built and maintained block of approx 15 holiday camp type rooms in a working farm yard. I stayed in room 12 that had been recently painted & had a new carpet. Lovely hot shower, comfortable bed, working kettle. No towels supplied but i expected this from other reviews. & no breakfast despite plenty of signs saying B&B. I feel its……

“The staff and the breakfast were amazing however the rooms have no shampoo (body wash is not going to do it for me), no lotion, no tissues and no phone. No phone makes it extremely difficult for overseas visitors to contact reception. Even the charming lady on reception who confirmed that these amenities were not offered in the hotel states that they were a budget hotel ‘but maybe not - we are quite expensive’. ”
