A short drive into Windermere and the rest of the Lake District too. We really enjoyed our time here and would stay here again. 「This was our first visit to the Forest of Bowland area and it was definitely worth it. The Old Dairy is set next to a meadowvwith trees in the distance and the farm next to it. The owners are to be congratulated on their attention to the little things that are so handy. Superb beds made for a wonderful night sleep. A fan was available for those hot, sticky days and nights. Helpful notes on places to eat, drink, cycle , walk or just enjoy. Scenic drives to market towns mean even the drive is...

「A lovely cosy cottage with everything you need for a walking holiday. Plenty of info from the helpful owner who came around to explain things shortly after I arrived. A short walk to the station. Parking OK outside cottage as long as you have a relatively small car (larger cars can park further down the lane I think). All in all an excellent cottage.」
